HUKD is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art distribution center that will enable the business to double in size over the coming years. The Hely Hutchinson Centre (HHC) is one of the most advanced distribution centers in Europe, with leading-edge automation and modern systems that will ensure world-class service to customers and publisher clients. Hachette provides comprehensive distribution services to thirty publishers, many of which are third-party clients from outside the Hachette UK group. HUKD ships more than 60 million books globally each year and supplies one out of every four books to the U.K. trade.

ADS is located 80 kilometers north of Sydney and distributes books throughout Australia and New Zealand. Every year, over 28,000 titles are stored in 141,000 square meters, and 18 million books are processed by 100 employees.

 

  • Bookpoint is located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and distributes for Headline, Hodder & Stoughton, Hachette Children’s Group, Hodder Education Group and Quercus in the United Kingdom and a number of client publishers. This 20,000-square-metre facility processes 122,000 books a day, or 26 million books a year.
